Clarity: The Secret to your goals
by Roxana Jones
A few years ago, I learned about the importance of waking up every day in a calm manner and certainly not to the sound of a disruptive alarm clock or mobile phone. This may sound difficult for many so here is the trick: Before going to bed at night, I tell my Higher Self at what time I should wake up. With precise gentleness, my Higher Self “works around the clock” for me and in some mysterious fashion I am always waking up a few minutes before the time I desire.
Starting my day in this non-disruptive way allows me to maintain a positive attitude and a level of clarity that I consider indispensable to complete all the small steps I will undertake throughout the day which are all intended to create my bigger goals, those I consider to be the reason why I am here on planet Earth.
Why would you be interested in practicing an intentional meditation?
I will answer you with another question: How bad do you want to achieve your dreams and goals?
Personally, I must admit that I do struggle sometimes with finding time to meditate. Knowing how important this practice is when it comes to manifesting the type of life I want, I came up with this short-cut: I simply meditate while taking my shower!
This might sound funny but it is a powerful way of spending some ‘me’ time – 10 minutes at least – at the same time that I visualize effortlessly the type of day, week, month and life I want to continue creating.
2. Once you’re ready to take your shower, breathe deeply three or a few more times, read or remember what you wrote down previously. This time, you will add the most important component: you will start FEELING your intention as if it has happened, as if you already experienced it.
3. Note 1: Your brain has already memorized well how to use soap, shampoo, etc. It will mechanically do those tasks while you fully visualize your goals and feel the exhilaration they bring. Note 2: As with everything in life, this is a process. If practiced every day you will master the technique and you WILL achieve your goal. Besides, your shower will have an additional meaning and purpose!
The objective of this meditation is to create days that help you get closer to your bigger goal. The secret to it all is feeling yourself, totally and completely, as the person who has achieved your goal, not as the person who desires your goal. In other words, see yourself as the achiever, not as the seeker.
One last thing before I finish, stay grateful and joyful while focusing on your intention and in general throughout your day.
I’ll be happy to answer any question or comment you might have about what you just read. By sharing this article, my intention is to connect with all those who understand that by improving themselves they are improving the world.
Until next time and don’t forget to be love.
