When NOT to Trust Your Intuition

People always tell you to “trust your intuition,” but today I want to share with you a little-known fact about your intuition: it CAN’T always be trusted! Here’s why:
With the Law of Attraction, we are always in the process of attracting to us what we are putting out there. For example, if I am thinking about having fun with my friends, I will attract to me more thoughts of having fun with my friends, and more events where I have fun with my friends.
When I am in a good feeling place, I am always in the process of attracting to me more thoughts and events that will make me feel good.
However, when I am feeling negatively, the exact opposite is happening. When I feel bad, I naturally have thoughts and impulses that will keep me stuck in my negative feeling if I allow myself to follow them.
From a negative state, we feel compelled to do and say things that will bring us more of the same problems and/or drama into our lives. We may, for example, feel the impulse to gossip or complain about our friends, confront them, or try to “get even” with them. We may also feel compelled to worry or feel badly about the situation.
This can be especially tricky, because in the moment we will feel like these actions are the right things to do. Even the most terrible ideas may feel perfectly logical to us, because when we are in a negative state of being, we are essentially magnets for bad decisions through the Law of Attraction.
So the next time you are sad or angry and feel compelled to do something about it (like confront your coworker, talk about your friends or call your ex) remember that from a lowered vibrational state, you really can’t trust your intuition to take you anywhere you want to be.
The Law of Attraction always encourages thoughts and ideas that keep you where you are, so make sure to check your feelings before taking action. If you’re feeling badly, it’s probably best to ignore your impulses.

Wait to take action until your feeling a little better. Take a few steps to raise your vibration, and delay any decision making in the moment. When you feel good and have a high vibration, you can fully trust your intuition to guide you to a better place. Let the “good feeling you” be the one to decide your best course of action.
